I definitely recommend getting the Mac and . The chicken wings was fresh and hot. Try the peach cobbler, strawberry cake and the candy yams. I will definitely recommend this black. “ I had oxtails, macaroni and cheese, cabbage amazing. My husband had meat loaf, macaroni and cheese with collard greens. The collard greens were top notch like grandmas cooking. Oxtails good amount meaty and delicious. Macaroni and cheese no complaints, cabbage a little too much pepper but I cleaned the plate. Meatloaf was also good would recommend less honey (too sweet) if that's what they used. It was our first visit and we will be returning with the family. It was a good home cooked dinner worth every dime. Keep up the good work and amazing service. See you soon ”

“ The other day for dinner I got Mama’s Southern Style BBQ II. I ordered their Oxtail platter w/ Double Collard Greens & a side of Baked Mac. I really did not want to like the Oxtails, but they were actually really really good. The Oxtails were extremely tender, had excellent flavor, and the gravy they were in was more on the Smothered Chicken gravy side. Their Collard Greens are phenomenal. Seasoned great and the amount they give you is awesome as well too. The baked Mac on the other hand, they def changed up their recipe over the years and for better, but the last few times I got them they were exceptional! Absolutely love Mama’s. It’s some exceptional SoCo food. If anyone is in the Vauxhall area, would highly recommend Mama’s if you’re looking for some excellent Southern Comfort food! Also try their Fried Chicken Platter. You really can not go wrong with Mama’s. ”

“ Everything was sooooo good. This was my first time here and I got the 2 pc catfish with 8 pc shrimp, Mac and cheese, candy yams and it came with cornbread. It was fresh and well seasoned. I got a picture of the food but the cornbread didn’t make the cut because I inhaled it lol. I live all the way in Philly, but I’ll definitely be back next time I’m over here. 10/10!!!
